Samantha & David

May 16, 2009
Valley Country Club, Warwick, RI

Sam and David's wedding was so vibrant and colorful...even in the face of threatening rain clouds. Each of the girls was in a different style yellow gown, which just popped against the greens of Valley Country Club, and Sam even brought a touch of color into her own outfit with a gold bracelet on each wrist.

It started to lightly sprinkle as we left the hotel, which made Sam a little nervous on the limo ride there. But thankfully the weather held up throughout everything...and even gave us time to take some nighttime pics!

Although you never want to deal with even the thought of rain on your wedding day, the lighting it brings does make for some great pictures...they even had fog starting to creep in for a very cool effect (like we planned it!).

The vibrant yellow theme carried throughout the entire reception as well...yellow ribbons on the chairs and the centerpieces had cut lemons and bumblebees (The Florentine Shoppe did an amazing job!) which made the whole place so fresh and springy. And checkout the bumblebees on the cake! (they have almond slices for wings, which is just so fabulous!)

Tana & Jim

May 9, 2009
Crowne Plaza, Warwick, RI

It was finally the wedding of Tana and Jimmy!
...and it was worth the wait! I had first met Tana about 2 years ago, and she's been a dream to work with since then. Of course (for those of you who know Tana) she had every detail planned down to the smallest point...from personalized cufflinks to her pink rosary made from the first Valentine's Day flowers she got from Jim. Love it!

Jimmy had just a little trouble with his vows...but at least he got the "I Do" part right!Cheers to the new Mr. & Mrs.!!Her pink theme carried throughout the ballroom, with the flowers, napkins and dramatic uplighting. And checkout the cake topper! By far the most unique I have seen...perfect down to the detail of their colorful shoes!Congrats to the both of you...and have lots of fun with Mickey and Minnie! I'm going to miss looking forward to your wedding though...vow renewal next year maybe??

Amy & Matt

April 25, 2009
Providence, RI

I was expecially excited for this wedding, because Amy is my aunt and we've been looking forward to this for a while! It was also fun because there were a lot of non-traditional elements (like walking themselves down the aisle) as well as having their reception in a place I had never been before...Patrick's Pier One on Allens Ave in Providence. It's a building that they have renovated as part of the new Providence Piers and has a very urban vibe to it...plus they had an omelette station and waffle bar!

The favors were these fabulous little stained glass decorations that my aunt made herself! Talk about DIY! And I love the jewelry! Congrats Amy and Matt (number 2)!!
